This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Electrical Engineer for our South Jordan UT office Be involved in projects with our Property and Buildings Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients objectives and solves their challenges Our Utah Buildings Group works on a range of large and small projects and focuses heavily on Healthcare Science Technology Higher Education Commercial projects Your Impact Oversee complex new construction renovation electrical infrastructure projects including review approval electrical infrastructure design plans ensuring data integrity compliance applicable codes ordinances regulations Apply high-level electrical engineering techniques processes various project phases concept development preliminary design final design procurement construction operation Plan incorporate future-ready techniques concept development operating strategies various electrical design requirements Prepare review electrical calculations loads equipment sizing grounding touch step potentials short circuit study overcurrent protective device coordination one-line diagram development protective relaying Lead MEP engineering projects preparing overseeing relevant project budgets tracking hours expenses ensuring satisfactory performance supervising subcontractors task completion cost quantities materials equipment labor technical calculations Develop update plans specifications cost estimates updating electrical infrastructure layout plans require coordination owners disciplines sub-consultants clients Prepare comprehensive technical reports presentations explain research findings concepts recommendations Provide guidance leadership project members strict adherence QAQC Remain current latest electrical engineering techniques practices Exercise responsible ethical decision-making regarding company funds resources conduct adhere WSPs Code Conduct related policies procedures Perform additional responsibilities business needs
