    Description

    Ecolab is searching for an experienced Lead Software Development Engineer to ensure the efficient operation and health of the Enterprise Data Office. This individual will play a key role in the success of the Modern Analytics Platform (MAP) by developing solutions and collaborating with various teams.

    • Position Details:
    • Location: St. Paul, MN or Naperville, IL

    What You Will Do:

    • Handle day-to-day operations and health of the Snowflake Environment
    • Enforce security standards in Azure and Snowflake
    • Design scalable cloud native solutions
    • Research and implement reliable software for business requirements in the Snowflake Platform
    • Develop tools for automation and operability
    • Enhance monitoring systems and create automation for Dashboards
    • Ensure environment hygiene
    • Provide technical consulting and troubleshooting

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
    • 8 years of experience in Software Engineering in a Cloud, SaaS environment
    • 5 years of coding experience (Python, Java, JavaScript)
    • Front end development experience with an understanding of SDLC
    • Building RESTful web services
    • Proficiency in Relational Databases (SQL, Oracle)
    • Experience with Cloud Infrastructure, Azure
    • Knowledge of CI/CD implementation
    • Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
    • Self-driven and passionately solves problems
    • Strong computer science skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with Cloud data warehouse implementation using Snowflake
    • Prior experience in System Operations with data warehouses/databases
