Description

At our facility, we are looking for a Receptionist who will be responsible for welcoming patients and guests, ensuring accurate registration in the system, and assisting different departments to meet their goals while providing excellent customer service. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Greeting guests in a friendly and timely manner
• Explaining wait times and offering assistance in the lobby areas
• Collecting complete and accurate information from patients or their representatives
• Explaining processes and necessary forms
• Verifying patient insurance and registration orders
• Escorting patients to their designated areas
• Complying with organizational policies and procedures
• Performing other assigned duties

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous customer service experience
• Basic computer skills
• Completion of skills competency test with a minimum score of 75%
• Previous experience in patient registration is a plus

Mental and Physical Requirements:

• Ability to read and understand Basic English
• Ability to lift 30% of your body weight
• Continuous movement throughout the hospital
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Professional interaction with all individuals, especially in stressful situations
• Maintaining confidentiality and remaining calm during crises
