    Job Description:
    Sr. Systems Architect defines the architecture, design, and drives the delivery of cloud based distributed systems and application development.

    Must understand highly available & reliable systems and its architecture, web based and mobile application development, middle tier systems development with strong experience in SOA and messaging based platforms, with working experience in various database technologies.


    • Works with the business teams to understand digital needs of multiple functional areas of the organization and design technical solutions.
    • Works closely with enterprise architects to evaluate architectural alternatives and help select approaches for provisioning new capabilities (build / buy / partner).
    • Defines the conceptual and logical architecture for the capabilities.
    • Works with delivery teams to lead delivery of the capabilities utilizing Cloud capabilities, relational and no-sql databases, frameworks such as Spring, Angular JS etc.
    • Drives adherence to security and compliance directives and best-practices
    • Employs continuous improvement tools and competencies for optimal productivity
    • Codes 20-30% of the time to develop POCs
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering fields. Technical certifications in cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/Google) desirable
    Qualifications


    • 10 + years of broad experience leading architecture and development solutions, with a proven record in technology planning and delivery in a large global corporation.
    • Possesses expertise across multiple architecture domains, forward- thinking, and well-versed in emerging technologies and trends
    • Hands-on experience in Java, Postgres, SQL (RDBMS), Python
    • Working experience with cloud technologies, AWS and Azure
    • Expertise in building various data solutions using various ETL and Datamart/Data warehousing technologies
    • Experience working in agile development environment
    • Knowledge about native mobile development preferred
