    Warehouse Operations Manager Nights (9:30pm start)

    Curtze Food Service is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager.

    OVERVIEW:


    Supervise and manage night warehouse operations and personnel to ensure the safe and efficient selection of products for delivery to customers.

    You are a first-line manager directing associates to achieve accurate orders that are then staged and loaded on our trucks.

    You will also manage and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in verifying and keeping records on outgoing shipments

    and preparing items for staging or shipment.


    SCHEDULE:
    Sunday - Thursday, 9:30pm to 6:30am

    Responsibilities

    Must be safety-focused in all tasks throughout the evening.

    Ensure an efficient nightly truck loading process (picking orders and loading trucks) while minimizing breakage

    and

    meeting the dispatch schedule.

    Directly supervises 50 associates in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

    Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by

    training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management.

    Monitors facilities and keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance

    Handles work-related injuries. Ensure that policies are complying as well as OSHA standards.

    Maintains storage area and organizes floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommends improvements.

    Attend any required training seminars or managers meetings and update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

    Qualifications

    Education/Training:
    High School diploma or equivalent required.


    Related Experience:
    A minimum of 3 years of warehouse distribution and one year of experience managing an hourly workforce is required.


    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
    Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills

    Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods, and procedures.

    Able to interpret financial and operational data

    Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HAACP, and other regulatory requirements

    Basic computer skills

    Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:
    Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (dry dock, cooler and freezer)

    Occasional carrying and lifting of 25 pounds

    Occasional overhead reaching

    Frequent standing and walking for short amounts of

    Frequent sitting for long periods at desk or workstation

    Frequent squatting or bending
