    Summary Statement

    The Delaware Department of Justice, Administrative Division, is looking for a Facilities Operations Support Specialist to join the Operations Unit. This role involves assisting with distribution services, warehouse management, handling state vehicles, and materials within various counties. Responsibilities include moving office furniture/equipment, aiding with electronic asset inventory control, and offering basic IT helpdesk support.

    Essential Functions

    • Distribution, materials handling, and equipment operation.
    • Records management and inventory control.
    • Equipment maintenance, cleaning, and safety compliance.
    • Transporting supplies using various tools and vehicles.
    • Ensuring efficient cargo arrangement and delivery.
    • Performing other facilities/operations duties as needed.

    Job Requirements

    • Building effective relationships with colleagues, vendors, and the public.
    • Operating a wide range of vehicles and equipment for logistics.
    • Utilizing independent judgment for distribution tasks.
    • Knowledge of preventative maintenance for vehicles and equipment.
    • Proficiency in basic office software and computer troubleshooting.
    • Experience with asset inventory systems and helpdesk software.
    • Valid driver's license for inter-county travel.
