- As Branch Chief plans, organizes, and oversees the end to end processes and programs for assigned Management Engineering Programs ensuring they comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs. Develops goals and objectives that integrate organization and MEP and PI objectives.
- Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
- Represents HQ AFMAA to Air Force and DoD agencies and leadership, other Federal Government entities, and industry organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with HAF, MAJCOM, combatant command, Air Reserve Component, base and local manpower office, and other DoD entities.
- Conducts and/or leads studies and/or initiatives to improve program(s) and/or influence policy changes for assigned functional areas that typically involve long-range, highly complex, and often sensitive topics. Prepares or oversees preparation of instructions, manuals, and other materials designed to improve effectiveness of operations and programs.
