    Opportunity:

    Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

    Job Details:


    • Shift may start anytime between 5:45 AM to 8:30 PM - must be flexible with scheduling

    • Perform routine and specialized radiation treatments in accordance with physician treatment plans

    • Work independently with sound clinical judgment to execute safe and precise procedures

    • Deliver accurate results in a timely manner while ensuring patient safety

    • Provide competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication

    • Adhere to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures

    • May perform specific procedures and orient other staff to the department

    • Work with adult and geriatric patient populations

    • Daily census of approximately 50 patients

    • Patient ratio of 5:1 during day shifts

    • Required certifications: ARRT T, BLS (must be AHA certified)

    • California state license required at time of submission

    • MUST HAVE experience with Elekta, Mosaiq, and AlignRT systems

    • Epic experience preferred

    • Minimum 2 years of experience required

    • Travel experience required

    • Skills include: Benign Brain Tumors, External Beam Therapy, IMRT, Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Elekta Infinity, Radiation Safety, Vision RT

    • Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing

    • 7-year work history verification required

    • Orientation modules completed through e-learning (average 1-5 hours)
