    $62,400 - $76,960 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 5:30 AM - 2:30 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Develop, prove, troubleshoot, and maintain CNC programs of multiple-axis lathes and mills using MasterCAM 3D and 2D programming software. Analyze part drawings, sketches, and design data to determine dimension and configuration of cuts. Selecting cutting tools, and machine speeds and feeds according to knowledge of machine shop processes. Perform debugging and testing of CNC programs in the machining centers. Prepare, store and maintain program files in the database system. Write instruction sheets and tool lists to guide set-up and operation of the machining centers. Operate machining centers as required to ensure performance, quality, and deliverability are achieved. Assist in any testing required in the purchase of new CNC equipment. Assist in the training of production operators on the use of new and existing CNC machine controls and tools. Perform cutting tools evaluations, cost analysis and new technology implementation as well as analyze tooling failures. Drive cycle time reduction through adjusting feed and speeds, eliminating wasted machine moves, and evaluating better tooling. Participate in work holding/fixturing design and manufacturing. Participate in machine set-up on shop floor for all new and/or existing processes.
