    Your Role:


    The Manager FP&A will be responsible for operational analysis, valuation and asset management analysis, financial reporting and analysis, preparation of board/JV materials, operational analysis and modeling, ad hoc, and strategic analysis.

    This position will reside in our Plano office and reports to the Director of FP&A in Chicago, and will support the SVP of FP&A and property management functions in Plano.


    Responsibilities:
    Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packages; preparation of major presentations such as JV committee meetings, lender reviews, board materials

    Deep dive into operational data to identify and track key performance drivers and develop strategic insights with a critical eye spotting data anomalies, trends or deviations.

    Interface with operations partners connecting operational metrics and financial results
    Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support business decisions.

    Forecast and analyze performance on multiple facets of business including general & administrative expenses and operational results through development of budgets and models.

    Lead discussions with senior management on performance and results through competitor analysis and understanding of market trends.
    Participate in discussions on strategic and operational initiatives as necessary.
    Assessment of potential investment or changes to the business
    Other tasks and duties as assigned.
    Manage one or more FP&A analysts

    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred.
    5-7 years of experience preferred.
    Strong quantitative, financial modeling and data abilities (Netsuite, SQL, PowerBI, FP&A tool knowledge a Plus). Understanding of cash flow modeling a plus.
    Statistical and valuation knowledge a plus.
    Ability to manage and motivate FP&A analysts in fast moving environment.
    Real estate industry and asset management experience a plus.
    Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
