- Valid Michigan teaching certificate preferred
- Appropriate Special Education endorsement required

- The ESY pay rate shall be $30 per hour for GPEA members who teach or work in this Program. In addition to hourly pay, staff will receive:
- Total number of positions will be determined based on interest and enrollment.
- Active LARA Licensure
- Significant experience and/or coursework in related fields
- Related academic endorsements preferred
- Ability to motivate and academically challenge children
- Effective communication skills at all levels
- Ability to differentiate instruction
- Ability to document data on student goals and objectives
- Crisis Prevention Institute certificate preferred
- Quality assessment skills
- Appropriate technology background to integrate with instruction
