    Qualifications
    • Valid Michigan teaching certificate preferred
    • Appropriate Special Education endorsement required
    • Ability to motivate children
    • Effective communication skills at all levels
    • Ability to differentiate instruction
    • Ability to document data on student goals and objectives
    • Crisis Prevention Institute certificate preferred
    • Appropriate technology background to integrate with instruction
    Compensation
    • The ESY pay rate shall be $30 per hour for GPEA members who teach or work in this Program. In addition to hourly pay, staff will receive:
    • Total number of positions will be determined based on interest and enrollment.
    Extended School Year (ESY) Occupational Therapist

    Qualifications
    • Active LARA Licensure
    • Significant experience and/or coursework in related fields
    • Related academic endorsements preferred
    • Ability to motivate and academically challenge children
    • Effective communication skills at all levels
    • Ability to differentiate instruction
    • Ability to document data on student goals and objectives
    • Crisis Prevention Institute certificate preferred
    • Quality assessment skills
    • Appropriate technology background to integrate with instruction
    Compensation

    Extended School Year (ESY) Speech and Language Pathologist

    Qualifications
    • Valid Michigan teaching certificate preferred
    • SB endorsement and/or Clinical Competence Certificate required
    • Related academic endorsements preferred
    • Ability to motivate children
    • Effective communication skills at all levels
    • Ability to differentiate instruction
    • Ability to document data on student goals and objectives
    • Crisis Prevention Institute certificate preferred
    • Quality assessment skills
    • Appropriate technology background to integrate with instruction
