    Description

    Exciting Opportunity: Field Engineer Position at Bio-Techne

    • Join our team as an experienced field engineer servicing revolutionary protein analysis instrumentation
    • Key member of a field team maintaining instruments and supporting customers across Benelux and occasionally in Europe

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Customer and Instrument Support: Deliver onsite customer-facing and home-based remote support to diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical scientific instruments
    • Schedule, Administration, and Inventory Management: Manage customer appointments, create technical paperwork, and submit service reports timely
    • Support of Sales and Field Applications Team: Collaborate to assist sales inquiries and ensure resolution of complex customer situations

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum Requirements: Fluent in Business English, BA, Masters in engineering/science, or 5 years experience in hi-tech sector
    • 5+ years experience in industrial/scientific sector, preferably in similar industry
    • Computer repair skills, strong computer skill set, ability to travel as necessary

    Skills Required/Desired:

    • Brand ambassador, excellent written and verbal communication skills, customer-oriented, strong organizational and administration skills
    • Attention to detail, time management, process management, professional demeanor, self-directed and creative
    • Basic laboratory skills
