    Job Title

    Senior Security Analyst Job Summary:

    The Senior Security Analyst will be responsible for supporting the development of security policies and procedures for Commander Navy Regional Maintenance Command (CNRMC) and the oversight of Regional Maintenance Centers (RMC) Enterprise security programs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Protect classified national security information and sensitive information from theft, loss, misuse, fraud, espionage, or sabotage.
    • Enforce regulations governing the receipt, dissemination, reproduction, transmission, safekeeping, and destruction of classified material.
    • Provide technical and administrative support in organizational security operations, Navy DOD Security Policy, and protocol.
    • Manage Trusted Workforce Enrollment, Visit Access Requests, Personnel Clearance System, and Key Request programs.
    • Participate in the Security Community of Practice and other organizational initiatives supporting mission goals and security initiatives.
    • Analyze large data sets and distill into easily understood summary details for presentation at the Flag/SES level.
    • Develop and implement policy promoting Fleet readiness and compliance with Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Navy (DoN), Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV), and Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Security Policies.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of CNRMC and RMC Enterprise Strategic policies, objectives, and goals.
    • Execute procedures for compliance, training, and development of security-related certifications.
    • Provide technical security consultation services and control matters concerning classification, inventory, safeguarding, handling, transmission, and destruction of classified information.
    • Represent the RMC Enterprise at conferences, briefings, and meetings to inform/convey command/naval positions and/or persuade executive management to accept controversial changes.
    • Responsible for protecting technology assets through policy and procedures.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years' experience or associate's degree with at least 15 years' experience.
    • US government security experience.
    • Working knowledge of the Navy Regional Maintenance organization and Navy organizational structure.
    • Experience with DOD security and eight security pillars: Information, Personnel, Physical, Antiterrorism & Force Protection, Industrial, OPSEC, Insider Threat, Security Education, Awareness.
    • Familiarity with government security-related database management systems.
    • Maintain a highly trusted persona with security, confidence, and high ethics.
    • Experience with Knowledge Management tools and resources.
    • Advanced knowledge in MS Office Suite.
    • Detailed-oriented, multiple-tasking, excellent organizational, people management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Team player with ability to work independently.

    Additional Requirements:

    • U.S. Citizen.
    • Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance at Secret level.
    • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
    • Lifting and carrying up to 25 lb may be required.
    • Sufficient mobility to enter areas of industrial/commercial facilities.
    • Professional behavior enhancing productivity and promoting teamwork and cooperation.
    • Commuting and traveling up to 10% may be required.
