BallenIsles Country Club is excited to present an amazing career opportunity as the Head Racquets Professional. We are looking for candidates who excel in a hospitality setting and are dedicated to providing exceptional playing conditions for our members and their guests.

General Purpose:

• Assist the Director in creating, organizing, and executing racquets programs, including special events, clinics, and daily member play.

Essential Duties:

• Supervise racquets staff professionals and participate in staff training and development.
• Coordinate schedules for racquets staff professionals both on and off the courts.
• Support the Director of Racquets in designing club programs and special events.
• Conduct new member evaluations and provide private and group lessons to club members and guests.
• Facilitate racquets tournaments, charity events, and team communications.
• Collaborate with the Racquets Concierge to coordinate members' games.
• Promote racquets department programs using effective business strategies.
• Monitor business volume forecast and make necessary plans in terms of manpower, productivity, and costs.
• Ensure excellent service delivery for member and guest satisfaction.
• Assist the Director of Racquets in various tasks such as hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
• Manage department members including Racquets Instructors, Racquets Shop staff, and Maintenance staff.
• Provide orientation and ongoing training programs for associates.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance while incorporating safe work practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

Minimum of an Associate's degree (AA) and three to five years of experience as a Racquets professional/instructor or equivalent.

Certificates/Licenses:

Require CPR, First Aid Certification, and certified Elite level USPTA or USPTR professional.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

• Proficiency in reading and speaking English for effective job performance.
• Possession of a U.S.T.A. rating of 4.5 or higher.
