Services include placing poles, anchors and guys, aerial strand and cable, direct buried pipe, trenching cable, conventional and directional boring, placing underground conduit systems, performing inside wiring and cabling, and testing and maintenance services.

    Headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, TCS was founded in 1978, and serves telecommunications and other utility customers in the throughout the United States. TCS' has extensive management experience and is ready to provide the quality service that customers expect, as well as expand to meet the needs of utility owners, educational institutions, and governmental communities as they move to build fiber networks, broadband systems and other applications.

    **Overview:**

    Warehouse Technicians are key team members supporting the building of telecommunication networks providing better internet and communication systems to homes and businesses. As a Warehouse Technician you will be an important part of a team by providing the materials used in installing, repairing, and/or maintaining underground utilities. Duties include, but are not limited to, receiving, delivering, tracking, maintaining, issuing, and stocking materials. **A** **Commercial Class A License Preferred**

    **Responsibilities:**

    Receive, inspect, store, and secure all supplies and materials when delivered.

    Set-up a stock issue and control system that will account for and track all materials used in our construction process.

    M aintain all received inventory in an organized and efficient manner.

    Assign and account for all materials issued to work crews on a daily basis.

    Maintain a shelf stock of parts, tools and any other job-required supplies.

    Conduct a complete physical inventory each month that will account for all materials stored, received, and issued from the warehouse and yard.

    Maintain material usage logs/spreadsheets to comply with our customers usage and tracking systems.

    Assist in the management, maintenance, and upkeep of fleet tools and equipment assigned to the project.

    Operates vehicle following all safety and traffic regulations including daily maintenance of vehicle.

    **Qualifications:**

    Holds and maintains a valid driver's license, **Class A CDL.**

    Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

    Possess a valid drivers license or be eligible and willing to obtain the required license for the position.

    A good driving record is required.

    Ability to operate a forklift.

    Ability to cycle count materials accurately for inventory.

    Proven decision making skills and the ability to succeed in a dynamic, highly visible/risk intensive environment.

    The ability to adapt to changing priorities and/or environments is necessary.

    **Preferred Qualifications:**

    Prior experience working in an outside plant/construction environment.

    Previous construction experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry.

    **Physical Requirements:**

    Ability to lift and/or pull 50 pounds several times each day.

    Ability to endure long periods of standing, sitting, or walking.

    Ability to work indoor and outdoor environments during all times of the year.

    **Safety Requirements:**

    The Technician shall follow all safety rules at all times.

    The Technician shall not engage in unsafe acts.

    The Technician is expected to attend and participate in all safety meetings and training.

    The Technician shall use all prescribed safety equipment that is required to safely do the job at hand.

    The Technician shall report unsafe acts or conditions to his or her immediate Supervisor or Safety Personnel.

    The Technician shall report any and all injuries, accidents, and/or incidents immediately their immediate Supervisor.

    The Technician shall be a safe worker on and off the job.
