Phoenix Industrial Services LTD has partnered with a Steel company in Taylor, MI that is looking to bring on an Experience overhead (Cab) Crane Operator with an immediate start.
If you are someone who has Overhead (Cab) Crane Operating experience and looking to work within a well- respected and Safety-first type of environment, Phoenix Industrial Services LTD has an excellent opportunity for youThis position will train on 1st shift and be placed on either 2nd or 3rd shift.
Requirements:
Staging and loading coils utilizing a c-hook into the pickle line. Changing out scrapboxes as needed (in line and on to/off of truck beds). Unloading the pickle line. Supporting maintenance as needed with different lifting devices. Unloading coils from trucks.
Unloading coils using a c-hook from a pit into storage or onto a transfer car. Staging and loading coils into the slitter. Unloading coils and multi-cut coils from the slitter. Changing out scrapboxes (in line and on to/off of a truck bed). Supporting maintenance as needed with different lifting devices. Loading a coil car with multi-cut product at the package line entry. Unloading coils from trucks.
Unloading transfer cars and pit cars to place finished goods carefully into storage. Loading trucks with finished coils. Utilizing an ID grabber to pick up skidded product off of a package line. Utilizing an ID grabber to load a skid truck.
All cranes have a computer in the cab to enter coil locations and to follow lineups, which the operator will be trained to use.
Qualifications:
2+ years solid Crane Operating experience
High School Diploma
Attention to Detail
Inspection Reporting
Pass Background & Drug Screening
