    Description

    **Job Title: Welder**

    **Job Description**

    Join our dynamic team as a Welder/Fabricator, where you will engage in the complete welding and fabricating process, specializing in MIG welding. Your responsibilities will include fitting, finishing, spot welding, tack welding, and executing single pass welds predominantly on stainless steel and aluminum materials. You will interpret blueprint drawings, manage dimension styles, and prepare weld surfaces as per project requirements. Ensuring adherence to safe operating procedures with overhead cranes and forklifts is critical in our fast-paced environment.

    **Hard Skills**

    + MIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum

    + Reading and interpreting blueprint drawings

    + Dimension style management

    + Weld surface preparation

    + Safe operation of overhead cranes and forklifts

    **Soft Skills**

    + Precision in reading tape measures with gradations

    + Conversion of measurements from feet to inches

    + Tool identification

    **Work Environment**

    Our facility offers a clean, well-lit, and temperature-controlled fabrication shop. The position operates on a first shift schedule from 5:30 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Thursday, and from 5:30 AM to 10 AM on Friday.
