    Dataflows/Data Organization 1. Review and standardize current data structure. 2. Review existing dataflows and how to optimize data pipeline from contractor files to database. 3. Enhance existing dashboards, adding in automation steps where possible. 4. Help develop best practices around PowerBI workspaces and dashboard ownership Power Platform 1. Create Requisition Tool 2. Personnel Utilization Tool 3. Change Management Workflow PowerBI 1. Assist development of current roadmap dashboards 2. Help standardize look and feel of dashboards across Global Projects Portfolio 3. Support creation of custom visualizations SharePoint 1. Support development of standard project template with linked PowerBI frontpage

    Roles and Responsibilities


    Partner with stakeholders within Project Controls and across a wide variety of capital project organization functions (Project Management, Project Controls, Procurement and Contracts, Engineering Management, and Construction Management) to design and develop reporting solutions, metrics and dashboards.


    Consolidate and interpret large sets of data in such a way that meaningful information can be extrapolated and utilized for critical decision-making by the functional teams.


    Assist in educating and training users to leverage delivered reports, dashboards, and connect to data while also providing best practices and design guidance to achieve data-driven decisions.

    Perform trending studies and research to identify data issues and develop/create solutions for managing data quality and integrity.

    Identify opportunities and lead initiatives to automate, consolidate and simplify reporting. Investigate and resolve incidents reported by users of existing data applications/reports.

    Understand complex project delivery processes, and propose Reporting and Analytics solutions as part of overall process improvement.

    Develop PowerApps integrated with data sources in the SharePoint and Azure infrastructure, both stand-alone and embedded within Power BI.

    Guide/train site citizen developers to develop PowerApps and integrate with Power Automate to improve existing manual workflows.


    Apply understanding of Project Execution processes and experience with Project data models to group, filter, and join data tables to streamline reports.

    Apply analytical methodologies to perform data analysis.

    Clearly explain technical concepts to people with non-technical backgrounds.

    Create a Data Catalog with controlled definitions for all existing and newly created data tables.

    Qualifications


    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Science or 2-3 years of technical architecture and build experience with large scale solutions.

    At least 1-2 years experience in one or more languages (PowerShell, Python, C#, Open Source)
    At least 2-3 years of client services delivery experience on Azure

    At least 2-3 years of experience in MS PaaS data services, but not limited to, such as Azure data factory, Azure data lake store, Azure function apps, Azure SQL/ Data Warehouse.

    At least 2-3 years of experience in developing, designing, and deploying end to end batch / real-time solutions.
    Professional experience in developing optimized stored procedures and performing analytical functions on the data sets.
    Experience in Power Platform Apps
