    About the teamStripe's Professional Services team works with our most strategic users; Integration Engineers lead technical workstreams with these users while they are onboarding and expanding with Stripe.

    We're seeking candidates with strong technical and business skills to drive high quality integrations while accelerating the time to go-live process.

    You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product improvements, solve challenging and complex problems, and improve Stripe's offerings.

    What you'll doResponsibilitiesOwn and drive relationships with external audiences of all kinds, from engineers to CTOs, to understand business objectives and translate requirements into integrationsLead users through technical implementations of products across the Stripe portfolioIntegrate Stripe's APIs to explore new products and featuresReview and validate integrations using Stripe APIsAdvise and document best practices around integrations using Stripe APIs, Stripe products, payments, authorizations and optimizationsWork closely with Stripe Product & Engineering teams to improve and evolve Stripe productsContribute to the development of Professional Services methodologies and tools to accelerate engagements and ease troubleshootingWho you areWe're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role.

    Minimum requirementsAt least 8+ years of experience, with a strong technical generalist and coding background.
    Has at least 4 years of production-level software developer experience with fluency in at least 2 programming languages.
    Has at least 6 years of customer-facing experience working as a customer success engineer, integration engineer, solution architect, technical consultant, software engineer or similar roleCan read, write, and understand code in multiple programming languagesHas experience integrating Stripe or other RESTful APIs A great verbal and written communicator, strong presentation skills, comfortable explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

    Superior time management skills to manage multiple external customers simultaneouslySelf-starter with the ability to assess, troubleshoot and work autonomously to decompose and solve complex problemsAble to accommodate light travel quarterly for customer on-sites and team meetings Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic and collaborative environmentYou should include these in your application:Your resume, Github, or LinkedIn pageLinks to code or other work of which you're particularly proud Hybrid work at Stripe This role is available either in an office or a remote location (typically, 35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office).

    Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users.

    This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.

    A remote location, in most cases, is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices.

    While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office.

    Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently or plan to live.
