    Windstreams Data Analysts are vital team members who will serve as a primary contact for analysis support within the Internal Audit Team.

    Enabling quick and efficient business intelligence for both ad-hoc and recurring strategic analysis needs. Translate large data analysis into consumable summary analysis.
    • Identify areas for improved operation through joint data analysis and analytics.
    Serve as liaison between Internal Audit and other teams as necessary regarding data discovery and availability and database support.


    What Youll Do:


    Work with business users and management to prioritize business and information needs, provide prompt and succinct status reports, meet deadlines, project due dates, and provide ad-hoc reporting/analysis.

    Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain data infrastructureInterpret data, analyze results and provide ongoing reportsIdentify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data setsCreate and maintain documentation for automations and other data projectsMonitor automation results for performance and opportunities for continued development and model improvementFamiliarity with data visualizationAutomate analysis processes and the distribution of analyses results to internal customersDo You Have?Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects, Tableau), SQL databases (Oracle, etc.), programming (Python)Working knowledge of programmingStrong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyStrong problem-solving and communication skills, written/verbalAbility to work under pressure, support multiple assignments, with strong attention to detailAbility to write efficient code and automation routinesAbility to work independentlyCollege degree in a technical or data science field or data certification with 0-2 years professional level experience or 4+ years professional level related analyst experience or combination of education and professional level experience.

    Knowledge of IT infrastructure and ability to navigate an enterprise IT environmentExperience with scripting languages and relevant data analysis libraries: Python (Pandas, Numpy, SciPy), Jupyter Notebooks, and other statistical/analytical toolsPresent information using data visualization tools (Cognos, PowerBI, Plotly, Dash, Matplotlib, Seaborn, etc.)



    Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g.

    TableaAdept at queries, report writing and presenting findingsAbility to stay current with the economic and technological developments in the industry.

    Experience with D360 and/or Diligent products (HighBond Results, Projects, Robots, and ACL for Windows and ACL scripting language)Collaborate with IT, data scientist, architects and engineering on projectsExperience developing reports/presentations provided to upper managementStrong working knowledge of telecommunicationsExcellent organization and time management skillsPhysical Tasks - Standing Occasionally: 0-33% |
