BayCare is currently in search of our newest Radiology Technologist who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. Founded in 1916, Morton Plant Hospital was the first hospital built in northern Pinellas County. Facility: BayCare Health System, Diagnostic Imaging – Morton Plant Hospital
Location: Clearwater, FL
Status: PRN (Non-Benefit Eligible), Exempt: No
Shift Hours: Days, Evening Nights, Weekend; varies.
Shift: Shift 4, Varies
Weekend Work: Occasional
On Call: No

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities:

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.

• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.

• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.

• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.

• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.

• Preferred 1 year experience in CT Technologist, Electrocardiogram and/or MRI

Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Registry Eligible; OR – ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) - within 6 months

• Radiology – State of Florida

• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology
