    Make Your Mark:
    The Solution Strategy and Marketing Manager

    is responsible for

    supporting

    , leading, and executing

    BlackLine's

    core product and solutions-related marketing activities. This person will craft solutions-focused messaging and positioning to emphasize how BlackLine

    Invoice-to-Cash (I2C)

    solutions and leading practices solve

    companies'

    business challenges. This person will also drive messaging that communicates ROI, value, complementary value, and differentiation

    of

    BlackLine

    I2C

    solutions in comparison to competitive offerings. The Solution Strategy and Marketing Manager interacts with teams including Programs Marketing, Product Management, Sales Teams,

    the I2C Pillar Team

    , and others, to ensure that marketing content accurately reflects

    the I2C land

    s

    cape

    clearly positions

    BlackLine's

    value. The Solution Strategy and Marketing Manager will

    contribute to

    and execute against a solutions marketing plan that combines in-depth understanding of the market, our strategic partners, and

    top use cases and capabilities.


    You'll Get To:
    Develop a thorough understanding of

    I2C

    applications,

    the

    markets, competitors,

    top use cases,

    and client/user

    business

    challenges
    Create and execute against a messaging and content plan that considers key

    stakeholders' needs,

    including sales

    , mark

    eting, and business

    development
    Own and craft simple,

    clear

    and compelling solution-focused messaging and positioning for BlackLine solutions
    Create content (case studies, brochures, fact sheets, white papers, presentations, website text etc.) to be used for a variety of audiences and target segments highlighting BlackLine strengths, features, and

    benefits
    Actively

    participate

    as a speaker, content creator, host, and/or producer in various strategic in-person and virtual events
    Serve as the

    solutions

    expert to the field on

    I2C

    solutions
    Remain current on trends and issues as they relate to the product offering as well as emerging technologies,

    customer and prospect priorities, and

    standards
    Work with

    inte

    rnal teams to ensure effective and

    timely

    communications on relevant announcements, programs, and performance – with both int

    ernal and external

    stakeholders
    Keep abreast of new features and enhancements to the product

    roadmap
    Collaborate across the business to ensure effectiveness of marketing strategies, activities, and

    materials


    What You'll Bring:
    Years of Experience in
    Related Field:

    5-7 years of product or solutions marketing or product management experience in the software space. Accounting experience - ideally in Invoice-to-Cash or Accounts Receivable processes - and/or domain expertise is required.

    Education:
    Bachelor's degree in business

    , marketing, technology, or related field

    Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    A

    bility to deliver cohesive presentations that highlight technical skills with

    Strong written communication skills and experience in creating

    Salary Range:
    USD $119, USD $169,300.00


    Pay Transparency Statement:


    Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location.


    In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
