    Looking to join our team at SFO? We're on the lookout for an IS Business Analyst who excels with minimal guidance.

    As part of the Innovation and Solutions team within our Information Technology and Telecommunications (ITT) Division, you'll report to the Principal IS Business Analyst.

    Your primary focus will be leading automated software tests in CI/CD pipelines, ensuring our software applications consistently deliver top-notch quality, reliability, and performance.

    Ideally, our perfect candidate brings three (3) years of experience in quality assurance testing for web-based applications. You'll play a pivotal role in conducting tests across front-end graphical user interfaces and back-end data services.

    Your adeptness in testing cross-platform, browser-based applications on both mobile devices and desktops will enhance our software's compatibility and user experience.

    Additionally, your expertise in testing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) using automated frameworks will fortify our system's functionality and integration.

    What you'll possess:
    Working experience with Behavior Driven Development approach.
    Working experience with Selenium/Appium/Cucumber/WebDriverIO or equivalent automation tools.
    Working experience with automated API testing tools (SmartBear ReadyAPI or Postman is preferred).
    Ability to work within the Agile Methodology in a team environment with rapidly evolving requirements and architectures.
    Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    Proficient understanding of web technologies (HTML, Javascript, CSS).
    Scripting experience in Java, Python, and JavaScript.
    Ability to write Structured Query Language (SQL) database queries.
    Working experience in testing web-based applications on mobile devices.
    Working experience with micro-service architecture.
    Working experience with cloud hosted systems that have been deployed on Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
    Familiarity with distributed data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka.

    Understanding of WCAG regression suites, compliance guidelines, and testing methodologies including front-end design for accessibility, screen readers, and keyboard navigation.


    How to qualify:

    Education:

    An associate degree in business administration, public administration, information systems, economics, finance, computer science or a closely related field from an accredited college or university OR its equivalent in terms of total course credits/units [i.e., at least sixty (60) semester or ninety (90) quarter credits/units with a minimum of twenty (20) semester or thirty (30) quarter credits/units in one of the fields above or a closely-related field].


    Experience:

    One (1) year in the information systems field, including technical support, content management, administration of network applications or system analysis.


    Substitution:


    Additional experience as described above may be substituted for the required degree on a year-for-year basis (up to a maximum of two (2) years).

    One (1) year is equivalent to thirty (30) semester units / forty-five (45) quarter units with a minimum of 10 semester / 15 quarter units in one of the fields above or a closely related field.

    Completion of the 1010 Information Systems Trainee Program may be substituted for the required degree.

    Supplemental Information:
    Essential duties require the following physical skills and work requirements:

    Some positions may require sufficient strength and coordination for lifting, pushing, pulling and/or carrying the weight of computer equipment.

    May require hand/eye coordination for semi-skilled movements, such as taking apart casings, installing parts and reconnecting computers and for performing data entry.

    May involve extensive VDT exposure.
    Additional Requirement
    :

    In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, this position requires sufficient strength and coordination of lifting, pushing, pulling and/or carrying the 35 Lbs.
