- Work alongside and supervise warehouse employees and oversee daily operations
- Overseeing warehouse performance, ensuring warehouse performance to meet promised service level.
- Utilize effective communication and motivational techniques when leading, training, coaching, and disciplining employees.
- Collaborate with other leaders and supervisors to attain departmental and company objectives.
- Regular interaction with Warehouse Supervisor on any issues
- Stage and Load trucks as needed
- Manage, relieve, and coordinate breaks for Warehouse personnel
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all necessary records and reports.
- Collaborate with the supervisor to develop, update, and monitor daily and weekly metrics essential for materials picking on the production lines.
- Guarantee the use of proper, safe, and compliant shipping methods, especially in relation to forklift operations.
- Safely handle both hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
- Understand and follow all policies, rules and guidelines relating to ESH
- Always ensure appropriate PPE is being utilized properly
- Reporting every incident or injury to your immediate supervisor
- Transport and accompany contractors to emergency facility as needed
- Participate in incident investigations
- Questions situations, processes or procedures that appear unsafe or put the site at risk
- Recognizes unsafe work conditions created by other workers
- Provide daily shift reports to the Warehouse Supervisor
- Facilitate cross training across all warehouse functions
- Complete scheduled inventories as required
- Exhibit sensitivity to and respect for diversity and follow a zero tolerance for any discrimination based on nationality, religion, age, gender, or other legally protected characteristics as prohibited by law
- Promote culture of team spirit among team member on a continuous basis
- Keeping members motivated to remain self-directed in achieving desired targets
- 5-7 years of direct experience successfully leading a team in a manufacturing distribution environment, preferably managing contract workers
- WMS - SAP
- Proficient in communication with individuals at all position levels
- Ability to enforce all company rules and regulations
- Forklift Certification
- ISTC Basic Plus
- 5/2 plus overtime possibly working 10-12 hours/day, and weekends as needed
- Day Shifts
- Night Shifts - Nights will rotate every 2 weeks to Day Shift
