- Epic Systems Expertise: Serve as the primary clinical expert on Epic, including modules related to core EpicCare Ambulatory and Inpatient support to guide the organization in leveraging these tools effectively.
- Solution Design: Colaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Epic-based solutions that meet the organization's needs, including customization, configuration, and integration with other third party applications.
- Technical Consulting: Assist portfolio owners with solution design, scoping calibration, and serve as an expert to validate enhancements and potential projects under the clinical team purview.
- System Optimization: Proactively reviews technical setup for critical architecture and configuration and provides optimization opportunities - articulating the required level of effort with the benefits of each potential improvement
- Integration: Oversee the integration of Epic with new and existing third party systems to ensure an optimal long-term approach
- Portfolio Health: Continuously evaluate and optimize Epic modules to improve efficiency, usability and patient outcomes
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, changes and best practices
- Collaboration: Work closely with vendors, project managers, and other stakeholders to drive successful Epic projects and implementations
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology)
- Certification in Epic Systems, such as EpicCare Ambulatory, EpicCare Inpatient, or other applicable modules
- Proven Experience in Epic Systems implementation and maintenance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various teams and stakeholders
- Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations

Salary
The pay range for this position is $56.02/hour (entry-level qualifications) - $100.75/hour (highly experienced). The Specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate's qualifications and prior experience.
