Description:- Candidates will be welding various materials and machine parts together that will be later assembled into machinery- MIG welding of frames, beams, conveyor tracks and various other parts- MIG wire welding on mild steel and stainless (1/16 to 1/2 inch thick) and some stainless and fabrication - 14 gauge up to 1/2"- Reading blueprints and weld symbols- Use of tape measure to measure and cut parts with a saw- Leak testing and visual inspection of welds and weld beads- Operate overhead crane and forklift- Lifting up to 50lbs as needed- Cleaning and prepping of the steel using a wire brush, sand paper and angle grinders- Using of micrometer or calipers to inspect quality- Welding in horizontal position
