Director, Lending Underwriting & TrainingThe main function of the Senior Director, Lending Underwriting & Training is to build a culture that generates underwriting quality, consistency, and efficiency across all Lending & Investments staff through the creation, documentation, and enhancement of and training on best practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in the complex process of underwriting credit risks for a CDFI.
This role is committed to continuously support and increase lenders' underwriting competency to assess and balance our credit standards with the unique strengths and risks of each lending opportunity.
Enable Lending to grow to scale through development of consistent and efficient underwriting/lending practices in the creation of quality assets.
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, and Agiloft CRM.
Ability to work with loan officers, loan administration, accounting, and other support staff to deliver timely turnaround for Century clients.
Skilled in managing time, multiple demands, and competing priorities effectively to accomplish objectives.Ability to keep established hours of operation and maintain excellent work attendance.
Ability to travel locally on relatively short notice.
Bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in Finance or Real Estate with five years underwriting preferred.
