    Arbour Valley Management - Assistant Property Manager

    Arbour Valley Management is looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join their team. As the Assistant Property Manager, you will work closely with the Property Manager, taking on various responsibilities and demonstrating maturity and good judgment in all aspects of property management.

    Essential Functions:

    • Collaborate with the Property Manager to learn administrative and financial tasks.
    • Supervise staff and manage the property in the absence of the Manager.
    • Assist in building a team that embodies the professionalism of Arbour Valley Management.
    • Regularly inspect common areas, units, and grounds, providing suggestions for operational improvements.
    • Develop expertise in maintenance operations.
    • Understand financial and operational reporting needs.
    • Maintain knowledge of state laws related to account collections.
    • Interpret and clarify legal documents such as leases.
    • Apply Fair Housing principles.
    • Stay updated on market trends and competitive properties.
    • Analyze issues with slow leasing units and propose solutions.
    • Attend training sessions as required.
    • Portray professionalism while interacting with residents, colleagues, and the public.

    Other Requirements:

    • Manage office systems efficiently for record-keeping. Ability to handle up to 15 pounds of materials.
    • Possess a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation for errands.
    • Pass pre-employment screenings and drug tests.
    • Maintain regular work hours and be available for emergencies after hours.
