Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solid Surface Countertop Fabricator / Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming high-quality solid surface materials into beautiful, durable countertops and expertly installing them in residential and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure precise fabrication, seamless installation, and exceptional customer satisfaction. Duties
- Measure, cut, shape, and fabricate solid surface materials with precision according to project specifications and blueprints
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to perform fabrication tasks efficiently
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and installation
- Install countertops securely, ensuring proper alignment, sealing, caulking, and finishing touches for a flawless appearance
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate installation schedules and address on-site challenges
- Conduct quality inspections during fabrication and installation to meet safety standards and quality expectations
- Perform minor repairs or restoration work on existing surfaces as needed using skills in plastering, caulking, or masonry
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction management principles
- Extensive experience with fabrication techniques involving glass installation, cabinet installation, trim carpentry, and framing
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding equipment, and heavy machinery for construction site work
- Knowledge of construction estimating, inspection procedures, and safety protocols on job sites
- Familiarity with Bluebeam software for digital plan review and project documentation
- Strong understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, stucco application, masonry work, welding, and concrete finishing is a plus
- Ability to read construction drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions for precise execution
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to on-site conditions
