    We are looking for a Structural Engineer to provide design support and guidance for rail transit projects. The ideal candidate has an analytical mindset, a background in rail transit, civil, and structural engineering.

    This candidate will need to be committed to delivering high-quality work on a tight schedule in a multidisciplinary environment as well as experience in design, integration, and interfacing of the fixed infrastructure with transit operating systems.

    Design and analyze at-grade and above-ground structures including vehicle bridges, rail bridges, retaining walls, aerial stations, and other associated structural facilities in compliance with the project design criteria using state-of-the-art engineering software and methodologies.

    Collaborate with project teams to develop innovative solutions that meet project objectives and client requirements.
    Prepare preliminary and detailed design drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
    Conduct structural assessments and evaluations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety guidelines.
    Provide technical support during the construction phase, including responding to RFIs and conducting site inspections.
    Review and coordinate with geotechnical staff for report development and data needs for assessments of structures
    Mentor junior staff members and contribute to the professional development of the team.

    Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field. Structural analysis/design experience in high seismic regions.
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on bridge wall and structure design.
    Ability to review, understand, and develop designs in compliance with contract documents.
    Ability to review, interpret, and incorporate the geotechnical data/recommendations in the design.

    Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or similar programs.
    Geotechnical analysis software skills desired but not required.
    Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software is a plus.
    Relevant experience involving major transportation or transit projects.

    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    AutoCAD and Civil3D is a plus.
    Conbox or other similar box girder structural analysis software.
    Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Schedule, and Project
