    We are seeking a highly motivated and dependable student worker to assist our team with TYPO3 CMS, the website content management system for La Sierra University. The student worker will provide support in various aspects of the CMS, including content and file management, content approval, and user training. This position offers an excellent opportunity for the student worker to gain hands-on experience working with an enterprise level content management system in a professional environment.

    Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with team members to assist in the updating of the La Sierra University websites.
    • Assist in content entry and management, ensuring accurate and timely updates to the web pages.
    • Help to move content for internal audiences currently on the public website to an internal website.
    • Review and approve website changes sent by the various campus offices and departments.
    • Customize web pages based on provided designs and branding guidelines.
    • Ensure the correct content placement in the public and private university websites.
    • Provide training and support to users on the effective utilization of the TYPO3 CMS features.
    • Revise and update web pages to comply with ADA (American with Disabilities Act).
    • Use SEO techniques in web pages.
    • Handle other duties at the direction of the Webmaster.
    • Currently enrolled as a student in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, digital media, communication).
    • Solid knowledge of and experience with content management systems.
    • Knowledgeable in sc CMS like WordPress.
    • Ability to work independently and within a team, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Familiarity with all or any of the following languages is a plus: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MYSQL.
    • Hands-on experience working with an enterprise level content management system.
    • Mentorship from experienced professionals in the field.

    Wage Range: $16 to $16.90 per hour
