    Summary You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist in the Human Resources Office, Code of NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY. Responsibilities You will serve as the NRL Student Programs Coordinator. You will plan, develop, and coordinate special training programs. You will conduct summer orientation programs for the students in SSEP, PAACTSEP and Pathways programs. You will maintain various reports and tracking databases/spreadsheets for student programs. You will maintain spreadsheets to track numerous items, such as RPA's, student applications and selections, and student hires.

    You will serve as a backup for HR Assistant work like entering RPA's into tracking system, sending RPA's to OCHR and coordinating new employee check-in.

    Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience, one of which is equivalent to the next lower pay band (NO-01) or GS equivalent (GS-4) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1.

    Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; 2. Plan and organize work; and 3. Communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.


    Education In lieu of generalized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree OR A combination of education and experience totaling 100% A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.

    PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ). To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation.
