- Under the direction of the CRNA Manager, the CRNA Supervisor assumes both a clinical and supervisory role. Responsibility includes participation in the hiring, orientating, developing, scheduling, and managing the performance of assigned staff CRNAs.
- CRNA Supervisor assists in the development, implementation and monitoring of budgets, quality improvement programs, staffing levels, goals, objectives, regulatory compliance, and the policies within the department.
- Responsible to maintain clinical license and practice 60% of the time clinically, and work 40% of the time administratively, with additional flexibility as needed depending on daily operational needs.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, with current licensure to practice in Michigan as a Registered Nurse. Licensure as a nurse anesthetist in the state of Michigan. Graduation from an accredited school of anesthesia. Ability to work harmoniously in collaborative situations with anesthesiologists and other health care providers. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. At least 4 years of experience working as a staff CRNA. 2 years supervisory experience working within a tertiary medical center preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Frequent walking, bending, lifting may be required to perform duties. Work is generally
in an operating room environment, but can be in Radiology, ICU, ER, or wherever nurse
anesthesia services are required in the hospital. Working conditions are variable with
exposure to communicable diseases and other hazards. Driving may be required
