    We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join our team. Under general supervision, this person will perform a variety of duties relating to human resource functions. The ideal candidate will be innovative, driven and solution oriented. This position requires travel to all of our locations as needed.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Handles the performance management process, providing day-to-day guidance to management and employees (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Assist the Managers with the Annual Performance Evaluation process.
    • Supports and administers human resource programs such as new hire orientation, ensuring required regulatory training is completed, assisting with special events, conducting exit interviews, etc.
    • Administers, counsels employees on, and tracks various benefits and employment law issues, including FMLA, STD, LTD, COBRA, ADA, Workers Compensation, OSHA, HIPAA, etc.
    • Handles recruitment process including interviewing job applicants; administering background & reference checks; and extending offers.
    • Maintains the HRIS system.
    • Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential
    • Serves as a point of contact for benefits-related issues to include; claims resolution, change reporting, and communication of benefit information to employees, troubleshooting portals. Managing benefit invoices and coordinating with accounting
    • Assist the Practice Administrator with a wide range of administrative duties.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

    A minimum of two years experience in Human Resources is required. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with often competing priorities.

    High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, industrial relations, or related field of study preferred.

    Human resources certification (i.e. PHRca/SPHRca/SPHR/PHR/SHRM-SCP/SHRM-CP/CCP/CEBS/CBP) highly preferred.
