    Job Description:

    Mechanical Systems Design Engineer

    Job Responsibilities:

    Machine Design: Designs a complete and complex framework, sub-system, system or product.

    Defines processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility.

    Identifies, analyzes and resolves system design weaknesses.

    Cross functional interaction to create block diagrams, system safety strategies, and identify component requirements for software developers.

    Participate and coordinate in design reviews, including FMEA and Fault Tree Analysis.

    Provides Subsystem design, documentation (schematics and assembly drawings), and packaging of sub-assemblies.

    Manages design and drafting staff for engineering projects, monitoring schedules and budgets.

    stakeholder management from marketing to supplier

    Creates design project proposal, planning, man power calculation

    Skills Required:

    10+ years in design & development of capital equipment, preferably Semiconductor

    Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of mechanical system design engineer experience; or Master's Degree with 2 years of mechanical system design engineer experience. Degrees in mechanical, or systems engineering preferred.

    Experience in High Vacuum components and clean room procedures.

    Experience in gas and liquid fluid handling systems: piping, valves, flow control and measurement.

    Experience in High Voltage components and applications.

    Works with Pneumatic and cooling system components and controls.

    Familiar with National Electric Code (NEC), ISO procedures, and Lockout/Tagout requirements.

    Familiar with SEMI S2-0200, SEMI S8-0600, and CE certification.

    General working knowledge of 3D CAD design tools. CREO and or Solid Works

    Experience using engineering analysis tools (FEA, CFD etc) in the design process given strong consideration

    Engineering change management, PLM experience added advantage.
