    job summary:
    A Test Setup Engineer in the Jackson, MS area is needed for a multinational power management company. The Test Setup Engineer is responsible for assembling hydraulic components, maintaining accurate test setups, collaborating with team members, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in the manufacturing and operation processes of Aerospace quality products.

    responsibilities:
  • Read and understand hydraulic schematics.

  • Assemble hydraulic components such as hoses, fittings, check valves, filter blows, accumulators, etc.

  • Evaluate the condition of hydraulic components and make decisions regarding repair or replacement.

  • Organize and maintain accurate test setups across product lines.

  • Collaborate with hourly test technicians, team leaders, and manufacturing engineers to define proper and safe test setups.

  • Update process plans with test setup parts lists, pictures, and instructions.

  • Generate and place orders for tooling and test setup components. Skills:

  • strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to understand and interpret hydraulic schematics.

  • Proficiency in assembling hydraulic components.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.

  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies is a plus. Education and Experience:

  • Technical Associates or Bachelor's degrees.

  • Less than 1 year of continuous work experience required.
