Global Logistics Exchange (GLX) Our facility is approx. 6,000 sf.

Global Logistics Exchange (GLX) is seeking a Warehouse Associate with experience who will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing, and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Ultimately the associate should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Knowledge in receiving, shipping, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
Ensure efficient space utilization.
Comply with optimal operational policies and procedures.
Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.
Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security.
Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies.
Plan work routes, assign tasks appropriately, and appraise results.
Recruit, select, orient, coach, and motivate employees.
Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status reports, dead stock reports, etc.)
Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.

Job Skills/ Job Requirements:

Proven work experience as a warehouse associate.
Cycle counting/order checking.
Experience in warehouse associate procedures and best practices.
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Hands-on experience with forklift.
Ability to manage staff.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, bilingual is a plus.
Warehouse experience: 5 years (Required)
DSD experience is a must.
Experience in software programs

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 Annual Base Salary + Benefits.
