Job Description
Turndown Attendant is responsible for making lasting impressions on our guests by ensuring the guest's room is clean, attractive and welcoming at all times.
Responsibilities
- Perform all the functions of a Room Attendant and Houseperson as needed and warmly greet all of our guests.
- Offer assistance and information to our guests.
- Clean guest rooms according to Omni's standards for Room Attendants.
- Provide water and ice to guests.
- Offer guest towels, pillows and other services/amenities.
- Change linens, turn-down bed.
- Attend required department meetings and company training.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the resort.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper attire/uniform and name tag when working.
- Complete other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous Housekeeping experience is preferred.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, push, pull, stoop, bend and lift items of moderate weight for an entire shift.
Working Environment:
- Interior of hotel with daily travel around property.
- Exposure to hazardous chemicals.
Tools & Equipment:
- Cleaning supplies
- Personal protective equipment
