Job DetailsJob LocationHarrisburg Engineering Center (HPEC)As a Senior Tool Maker, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in Tool/Die/Mold setup and repair, CAD software, blueprint reading, and manual machining skills to support our manufacturing operations.
SUMMARY:
Responsible for the building, development, and qualification of production die and mold tooling
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build, develop and qualify production die and mold tooling.
Make replacement die and mold tooling.
Maintain shop equipment.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITES:
Complete other tasks and duties as assigned
QualificationsEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent.5-7 years experience in related work.
Technical school, CAD capability, NC programming capability a plus.
Ability to read product drawings and tool drawings.
Ability to set up and operate press machines.
Die/Mold building and development, heat treating, machine build, product prototyping.
Must have proficiency in use of all tool room machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Occasionally may have to lift objects up to 50 pounds
LICENSES/CERTIFICATES:
Certified Journeyman Tool and Die Maker
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Tool room/production area.
