    Job DescriptionOcala Operations is a manufacturing facility occupying over 340,000 square feet, building circuit cards, wiring harnesses, and electronic assemblies for missiles and fire control.

    We are seeking talented Manufacturing or Industrial engineers to join our team to help develop many best-in-class products and solutions in our Missiles & Fire Control in Ocala, FL.

    Job Duties Include:

    • Candidate should be able to develop and implement Manufacturing Process Plans (MPPs) for a variety of electronic and electromechanical assemblies.
    • Utilize basic drafting and software programs to develop MPPs, design tooling, support equipment, and process flows.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing operators to facilitate assembly performance.
    • Apply lean manufacturing techniques to reduce cost and increase yields.
    • Must have good communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Investigate the root cause of failures/defects and implement corrective action to support continuous improvement.

    Basic QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college.

    This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.

    Desired skillsKnowledge in Lean manufacturing concepts and techniques. Basic skills in 3D modeling software such as Solidworks and 3D Printing prototyping. Understanding the concept of Root Cause/Corrective Action. Data analytics.
    Familiar with Lean Six Sigma.

    Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

    These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.


    Colorado Pay StatementPay Rate:


    The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $52,800 - $101,100 .

    Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

    Non-represented full-time employees:

    accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.

    Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.

    PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
    This position is incentive plan eligible.


    Premium Pay StatementPay Rate:


    The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $60,700 - $114,400.
