    Description

    Utz Quality Foods is looking for an IT Cloud Systems Engineer to join their team.

    • This position supports the IT Team by monitoring, managing, and maintaining day-to-day activities of Azure environments, as well as responding to and addressing system alerts and notifications.
    • The role involves assisting with resource provisioning, migration, and configurations in Azure.
    • The Cloud Systems Engineer will collaborate with DevOps and cloud infrastructure architects and engineers to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure environments.
    • Requirements for this role include 2-4 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, advanced Certification, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Candidates should be proficient in IT Security Software, Azure Cloud-based support of Servers/Systems, VMware, Windows Servers, Active Directory, and networking within Windows.
    • Additionally, candidates must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a positive customer service orientation with internal and external stakeholders.

    Responsibilities of the IT Cloud Systems Engineer:

    • Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning, including capacity needs analysis for network infrastructures.
    • Design and implement network and computer security measures, as well as research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.
    • Manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance, and security.
    • Develop highly available, multi-region solutions within Microsoft Azure and analyze operational standards to identify and implement improvements.
    • Maintain security patches on servers, develop infrastructure as code (IaC), and manage security and access controls of cloud-based solutions.
    • Conduct administrative tasks to maintain the network, interface with the Tech Support Team, and delegate project deliverables and tasks for improved team performance.

    Requirements include:

    • 4 years of related experience and one of the following: a Bachelor's degree, Advanced Certification with 4 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Experience with IT Security Software, Azure Cloud-based support, networking within Windows, VMware, Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Office365 Administration.
    • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, conflict management, and analytical skills.
    • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a positive customer service orientation.
    • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and focused on quality and continuous improvement.
