    Description
    Michael Baker International is seeking a Civil Engineer I to join our Water Resources team.

    The Civil Engineer will support all aspects design and plan preparation for a variety of water resource projects and clients.


    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Civil design of roadways, sewers, utilities, stormwater management facilities, erosion and sediment control plans, and drainage conveyance systems.

    Tasks include hydrology and hydraulic calculations, drainage calculations, NPDES permitting, rough and precise grading, and cost estimates and specifications.


    PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
    B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited University

    • 7 years of related experience
    P.E. license in Pennsylvania required

    AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills

    Experience in preparation of construction documents, design calculations, maps, basic reports and other supporting documentation to support civil design

    Experience in preparation of quantities, cost estimates and project specific specifications

    Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    Preferred

    Strong technical background in drainage design, H&H calculations, and stormwater management design

    Excellent oral and written communication skills

    Self-starter, versatile and interested in working on a variety of projects supporting the Water Group

    Goal oriented and quality focused

    MicroStation and OpenRoads skills

    COMPENSATION
    The approximate compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.

    Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
