    Peer Recovery Specialist

    $2,000 Sign-on Bonus

    Tuesday- Saturday 4:00 pm - 12:00 am


    Southeastern Family Project (SEFP), a Substance Use Disorder and Emotional Well-Being Facility, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Peer Recovery Specialist.

    SEFP is a licensed comprehensive residential program for pregnant and postpartum women diagnosed with a substance use disorder.

    The program provides gender-specific substance use treatment services in a safe, stable, and secure residential environment, emphasizing a person-centered and holistic approach to wellness for women and families.

    The Peer Recovery Specialist must have similar lived experiences with mental illness and/or substance use disorder, be in recovery, and be able to build positive support relationships based on mutuality.


    Peer Recovery Specialist Requirements: Must have lived experience with a substance use disorder and have a minimum of 12 months of successful recovery, including making progress in learning about and managing his or her condition and in developing a life outside of, or in addition to, this condition. Must complete the DBHDS 72-hour Peer Recovery Specialist Training within six months of hire. Valid driver's license.


    Current H-NNCSB employees are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.


    The selected candidate must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, DMV record check, Child Registry search, drug screening test and employment reference checks.
