    Description

    Reputable electrical contractor specializing in commercial construction, highway/heavy, industrial, utility and energy construction with a strong emphasis on airport and airfield electrical construction.

    We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager/Estimator to join our dynamic team in the commercial construction industry. This position will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of commercial construction projects from conception to completion.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction project management and estimating, with a particular focus on electrical applications and systems.

    This position offers the opportunity to take on challenging projects, work with a dedicated team of professionals, and make a significant impact on our company's success.

    Oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects from initial planning to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

    Develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timeline.
    Conduct detailed estimates for commercial construction projects, including electrical systems and applications.
    Utilize AutoCAD and other estimating software to prepare accurate and competitive bids.
    Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project execution.
    Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion.
    Maintain a high level of quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
    Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals and ensure client satisfaction.
    Manage and mitigate project risks and issues.
    A two-year technical associate degree in electrical estimating, project management or construction management, or a similar discipline.

    A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in estimating and preparing commercial electrical bids, with a strong knowledge of project management in electrical applications and systems.

    Proven experience as a project manager and estimator in the commercial construction industry.
    Experience with AutoCAD and other estimating software.

    Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey project details and expectations to clients, team members, and other stakeholders.

    Outstanding leadership skills, with a keen sense for detail and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
    Strong knowledge of electrical contracting, with a proven track record of successfully managing and completing commercial electrical projects.
