    **Description**

    **Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (40 hours), temporary 2-4 month assignment**

    **Summary/Objective:**

    Help DCU expand services to members with this temporary opportunity Overall responsibilities include ensuring ACH and Bill Pay transactions are processed in a timely manner. Provide support and timely resolution to staff and members through Service Excellence and support the credit unions quality initiative through teamwork, innovation, and efficiency.

    **Essential Functions:**

    Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    Accurately process a variety of ACH Transactions, which includes but is not limited to, ACH Origination, Corporate Origination, A2A and P2P, ACH Stops and Disputes, Member to Member transactions, and research member exceptions. Knowledge of administrative portals will also be a key function of research.

    Process a variety of Bill Pay-related functions, which includes but is not limited to, Bill Pay Registration issues and Bill Pay research

    Complete system testing and validation for the host/core system in addition to various other systems used to complete daily job tasks

    Complete required annual Compliance training as well as any other assigned training by deadline

    Actively contribute to all DCUs Success Sharing initiatives

    Identify and, when appropriate, assist in implementing ideas that will help improve efficiencies in the work area, department and throughout DCU

    Actively contributes to DCUs Success Sharing initiatives and practices DCUs principles of People Come First; Do the Right Thing; Make a Difference

    Maintains a high level of professionalism and respect during interactions with both members and colleagues alike

    Maintains a working knowledge of and adheres to DCU policies and procedures related to the position as well as all applicable regulations

    Performs work functions with attention to detail, within established timeframes and follows through as needed to complete tasks

    **Level One:**

    Similar work-related experience, financial institution, preferred

    Excellent PC skills required to include, but not limited to, MS Word and Excel

    Prior customer services experience preferred

    Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities seamlessly

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopier/scanner, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

    Physical Demands:

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a largely sedentary role. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls and to reach with hands and arms. Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard and read computer monitor as well as applicable information. Be able to lift, carry and move light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds.
