    Job Title: Graphic Designer

    Job Summary

    Blade HQ is looking for an innovative and skilled graphic designer to join our marketing team The graphic designer is a full-time position, on site in Pleasant Grove, UT. This person is responsible for crafting digital, print, promotional items, and other graphics such as newsletter, website and email banners. We're looking for a designer that is an artist, visionary, and creative executor that isn't afraid to think outside of the box We love to keep the knife industry on their toes and do the unexpected


    Tasks

    • Design assets for email graphics, website banners, landing pages, and social posts with the intent of A/B testing.
    • Assist in print assets, packaging, logos, t-shirts, stickers, other promotional items, etc.
    • Support email marketing by constructing emails and reporting on data in bi-weekly meetings.
    • Manage workload, production schedule, and work quality.
    • Participate in planning and executing content and campaigns that resonate in the knife community and sell pocketknives on our website.
    • Create, update, enforce, and follow brand guidelines for multiple brands.
    • Oversee digital assets, naming conventions, and varying styles for multiple brands.
    • Organize and maintain file structure to easily find all assets.
    • Report on effectiveness of assets, such as promotional campaigns including t-shirts, stickers, and other giveaways.
    • May include other duties as assigned by management.

    Skills

    • Proficient in verbal and written communication in English language
    • Solid grasp of design fundamentals, including typography, color theory, and composition.
    • Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign required.
    • Experience in email design and campaigns ran through Drip, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.
    • Mobile-first design sense.
    • Collaborative spirit, clear communication, and the ability to receive and give candid feedback.
    • Excellent time management: ability to prioritize and work with minimal direction.
    • Understanding and execution of delivery formats for digital and print.
    • Accuracy: excellent spelling/grammar; the ability to prevent errors from going downstream.
    • Microsoft Office: Excel and Word required

    Physical Demands

    • Safe handling of knives and other edged cutting tools.
    • Sitting and standing for long periods.
    • Typing, clicking, and looking at computer screens for long periods.

    Work Environment

    • Standard office environment.
    • This is an on-site position. No freelance or remote.

    Education and Experience

    • 18 years of age or older.
    • Bachelor's Degree required; emphasis in graphic design or similar field preferred.
    • Experience with Klaviyo, Drip, or Mailchimp a plus
    • 2+ years professional experience.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    • Full-time position (40 hrs/week). Salary. Must be willing to arrive at work by 9 a.m.
