The Omni Ft Lauderdale Hotel is looking for a Server to maintain the highest standards possible for the guest by insuring quick efficient and professional service to ensure satisfaction To assist the Manager on Duty in day-to-day operations
Responsibilities
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must work well in stressful high-pressure situations Must be effective in handling problems in workplace including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems as necessary Responsible for assigned shift assisting in overall management Supervise and coordinate assigned shift Assist manager in communicating new information and teaching new procedures to all marketplace associates Check staff punctuality Complete environmental checklist for dining room Order daily supplies or communicate inventory needs to appropriate management Follow up on established training steps Handle guest comments complaints Ensure guest satisfaction Communicate with guests receive feedback Observe teach correct staff service Monitor each guest experience Must be able able work with understand financial information data basic arithmetic functions Assist with monthly inventory Maintain cash bank Verifying guest room numbers for room charges Interact other departments ensure guest needs satisfied Adhere proper food handling procedures Proper knowledge equipment use safety procedures Knowledge troubleshoot POS functions Serve guests under Omni standards
