- Administers various types of treatments as required.
- Ability to give meticulous manicure, pedicure, and hand/foot treatments.
- Responds to any guest complaints and ensures the privacy of each guest.
- Promotes and sells products.
- Cross-trains to perform all services within a unisex salon operation such as, make-up applications, facial/skin care and waxing as determined by license and certification.
- Prepares nail care equipment, sanitizes instruments, treatment areas and supplies daily, and completes all tasks necessary for opening and closing shifts.
- On-time attendance is necessary, and uninterrupted work is expected.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time and lift 15 pounds.
- Ability to perform current, fashionable and age appropriate hair styles.
- Ability to perform various treatment procedures and scalp treatments as requested by the guest.
- Performs other related reasonable duties capable of being performed as requested by Management.
Requirements
- Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Licensed by State Board of Cosmetology, Esthetician or Cosmetologist.
- One-year previous experience.
- Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
- Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Technical Requirements:
- Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
- Excellent people skills.
- Must meet grooming standards.
