    POSITION SUMMARY

    Looking for a highly motivated candidate to join the Union City Global Manufacturing & Supply Team, reporting directly to the Manufacturing Site Lead. The ideal candidate will lead the Engineering, Tech services, and Project Management team responsible for manufacturing validations, material qualifications, sustaining engineering support including automation, facilities changes, capital execution project management and on-market product engineering support. This person will work closely with Quality, R&D, and the Technology Teams to meet the business objectives in a compliant manner.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    o Responsible for setting and meeting budget requirements for their respective teams. Provide direct leadership for team colleagues, achieving objectives for colleague engagement, quality, supply and cost

    o Implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and enhance them as the business requirements change.

    o Provide technical guidance in project and construction safety programs and assist in the continuous improvement process for site plans

    o Provide technical SME support in developing project scope, approval documents, execution of strategy, identification / selection of external resources.

    o Provide technical input into the capital plan for project scope, content and cost.

    o Work closely with GMS Platform Engineering technology leaders to provide technical and facility design support for new products as well as optimization of existing manufacturing processes and packaging operations.

    o Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain engineering guidelines and good practices to assist in the design, operation and maintenance of process, packaging, automation and facilities.

    o Manage and maintain on-market support for all existing manufactured products.

    o Develop and evaluate technical options for new technology platforms and products

    o Scope and develop energy savings projects

    o Creates a pipeline of opportunities for improvements that align with the business objectives for future growth.

    o Effectively partners with and motivates enabling support teams to improve operations for the advancement of the whole site and company.

    EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

    o Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, and/or Physics with 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

    o Food and Drug Administration and/or USDA experience is required.

    o Proven track record of building successful teams and facilitating progressive organizational change for in a growing company.

    o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment through utilization of exceptional organizational skills, the aptitude to multi-task and balance complex priorities.

    o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

    o Demonstrated ability to lead people, manage internal/external customer satisfaction and get results through others.

    o Exceptional analytical skills that drives reporting and analysis for upper management and supports decision making for the organization.

    o Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of colleagues and management across organizational boundaries. Candidate must possess flexibility and agility to respond to constantly changing conditions and priorities.

    Work Environment: Colleague required to work onsite full-time, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, can work around moving machinery, and be around equipment that produces moderate noise.

    The following base pay range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position if a selected candidate were to be located in [California] Base pay may vary based on location and other factors.

    Base Pay Range: $182,000 - $279,000
