    Overview:

    Summary of Position Requirements

    Inspect homes at various stages during construction for compliance to plans, specifications, applicable building codes, and Lennar best practices and standards; specifically inspecting for water intrusion and final quality and keeping accurate records of results. Will work closely with all Lennar associates, business partners and customers to ensure the customer receives a quality product that results in a TDH customer.

    Responsibilities:

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Perform final quality inspections on homes and accept the home as meeting or exceeding Lennar standards of excellence.
    • Perform Green Z water intrusion inspections before the home is wire lathed.
    • Assist communities in maintaining and improving corporate Heightened Awareness programs.
    • Perform weekly community cleanliness inspections.
    • Assist community managers in maintaining compliance with Storm water runoff best management practices.
    • Perform homeowner Orientation/Celebrations prior to closing.
    • Monitor various stages of construction for compliance to Florida Building Code, plans, specifications and Lennar standards.
    • Monitor OSHA compliance of building partners and associates.
    • Monitor construction material storage and usage.
    • Monitor product performance
    • Attend monthly construction meetings
    • Assist customer care department if needed.
    • Other duties as assigned
    Qualifications:

    Education and Experience Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
    • Minimum 4 years experience in new home construction and/or customer care
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
    • Experience with Build Pro preferred
    • Computer literate with the ability to work with Microsoft Office
    • Professionally and successfully perform detail-oriented tasks and maintain accurate records.
    • Good writing and organizational skills.
    • Possess strong work ethic, integrity and loyalty.
    • Team player with ability to work well under pressure
    • Be able to schedule daily duties with maximum time management.

    Contacts

    Daily interaction with various Division Associates, outside agencies, Trade Partners, consultants, and Customers.

    Physical Requirements

    Able to work more than eight hours per day, either in the field, office, or both. Possess the ability to operate a motor vehicle, climb stairs/ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which, occasionally operate construction equipment. Able to sit at a computer monitor for extended periods of time to complete paperwork, meet with trade partners, and receive/return phone messages. Must be able to work in construction environment under all weather conditions. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
